Asana tilbyder en af de enkleste måder at organisere og administrere arbejde på tværs af teams. Her vises, hvorfor Asana er blandt den software, der klarer sig bedst på Capterra.
Furthermore, Asana's extremely adjustable and attractive GUI makes interacting with it a lot more enjoyable. It was well worth the money.
When you set up a new account, you naturally are opted in to the email notifications, which can be really annoying and a pain to remove. My only suggestion to the Asana team would be to change that.

Great task manager
Kommentarer: Overall good experience, room for improvement. Being able to set up email alerts for example to notify customers when a task assigned to him has been completed. It is very much focused on collaboration within a company, but should be extended to collaboration with external customers.
It has a very generous free plan, sufficient for most basic needs. Great task manager, the best I've tried so far and there have been a few.
The biggest drawback is that in order to upgrade to a paid plan you have to buy at least TWO licences. There are many of us who work alone and paying twice is no fun at all. Being able to further customise things like notifications.
An easy to use PM app
Kommentarer: One of the big challenges in by work is getting all the stakeholders on projects to work on common platforms. I've used Asada as the go-to app for all projects, with integration with Google Workspace and Slack in particular really useful. It helps to plan and review progress on projects, and allows you to run projects in either agile or waterfall formats. It's also not too complicated, there are various subecription levels that give you access to the features that you need
Quick and easy to setupAllows collaboration with clients and partners Integrates well with Google Workspaces, Slack etc
I've become so used to Asana that there's nothing the bugs me now. It's perfectly suited to planning and running technical projects
Terrible Service - Avoid at all cost! Go to other options (e.g. Clickup, etc.), or you'll regret it
Kommentarer: Teririble, we have switched since then and found software with better features + service at better prices.
At first it seemed ok, but as we needed more and more features we found Asana extremely lacking and terrible service to match.
The service is absolutely atrocious. They charged us for 1 year + where there was literally 0 activity on Asana. We kept sending emails (about 4-5 in total) saying that we wanted a cancellation and they did not cancel.
Asana is task management tool
Kommentarer: Its nice product and very user friendly.
Its awsome to manage task and best tool to remind with timeline.
Portfolio is not available in asana pro, that should be available to make portfolio of team and projects.
I just Love it!
Kommentarer: I really do love Asana since day one, I have tested any PM system implemented by several clients, and none of them have the user-friendly platform and at the same time good tracking of each project and task, Asana makes my professional life easier day after day!! :)
I can have the best and easiest way to track each project and task, without getting loose in a system!!! Also you can have the free version to test it while you fall in love with it :)
The reports look fantastic, I will add just some more reports templates so we can easily export them :)
Powerful project management tool, but impressively flexible
Kommentarer: Asana, allowed us to move our project management all within one tool and also to communicate with clients better than ever.
The simplicity to use the system initially, added with the details customisation and flexibly of rules and automation in the back end, allow the team to use this at different levels.
There are lots of features so can take some time to become efficient at using the tool to its best capabilities.
Asana helps us to collaborate and manage tasks for years
Kommentarer: We were using asana in different projects since 2011. It evolved the way we like to see it – great job! Asana always found ways to quickly enter and manage tasks, also by utilising keyboard without mouse and shortcuts, which was unusual for a web-tool, but had deep roots in old PC software that used keyboard only and was very efficient.
a. Long-term use - we have been using Asana across projects since 2011, finding it consistently reliable.b. Evolution and adaptation - we are impressed with how Asana has evolved to match our preferences and needs.c. and most important, efficient task management - we love the quick task input and keyboard-friendly shortcuts for effective management.
a. Not really a problem (as you always can use main simple and efficient functionality and that's it), but Learning Curve for new users can be a bit steep due to the variety of features.b. "Complexity for simplicity", growing with an abundance of features over the years, it might make the tool seem complex for simpler projects.
Asana – Best project performance
Kommentarer: Their email integration feature is also invaluable, allowing me to send job requests directly via email. Additionally, the platform offers a comprehensive view of the entire team's performance, tasks, and assignments, which greatly helps in tracking progress.
I've been using Asana for a few years now for project management and I can say that it's an easy to use tool. Understanding its capabilities doesn't take long, and the platform is so versatile that it allows you to make adjustments to your project management style when necessary. I particularly like the ability to set up multiple teams while also customizing access to projects within those teams. One of Asana's standout features is its automation and delegation capabilities, which provide a seamless user experience.
The data visualization part is very basic, it should improve and provide more exhaustive reports to have a better idea of the project performance.
Best collaboration and project management platform
Kommentarer: Asana is the best when it comes to project and program management
Asana boosts productivity and collaboration across teams, it’s very efficient to manage projects, and fosters excellence. Asana makes managing multiple projects very easy.
Asana is a wonderful platform to use for delivering great experiences and projects to clients, there are no negatives or limitations to Asana
Tasks are a breeze with asana
Kommentarer: Very easy to start and learn features. Great collaboration tool
The fact that we can use it as a project and task management tool, including time spent on projects, and that we can share tasks with clients without sharing everything but enough to be updated about progress
Still haven't worked out how to build a crm into our procedural flow
Simple and easy task management
Kommentarer: I use this as a quick way to jot down ideas, suggestions and tasks when communicating with clients and then I can come back and expand on the tasks with more details when I have more time. Adding in sections to distinguish priority and time-frames is nice as well.
It's so easy to setup a project and add in tasks when in a rush. It's extremely easy to invite people to join your organisation and being able to have up to 15 for free is amazing. I find the option of being able to view tasks in both a list and board view very useful.
I use it in a very simple manner just to manage ideas and tasks on different projects so currently there are no cons. A few years ago I did find it to load slowly but they have fixed it and increased the speed.
Excellent tool for project/task/list management
Kommentarer: I have been using Asana for both work and personal projects (two separate accounts) for about 6 years now, and I am obsessed. I am constantly thinking of things I need to do for work or personal ideas and business ideas, and it's great for capturing them and organizing them in one place. I make it a habit to cycle through all of my projects once per week to review upcoming deadlines and update the status of projects (sometimes more often). There are some coworkers in other departments who use Asana heavily, but I have not been able to convince my group to use it for collaboration. I would love to get them away from using email, Word docs, and spreadsheets for project collaboration.
Everything! However, I like that it is easy to quickly add tasks and projects, especially from the mobile app. I rarely miss deadlines or forget things since I started using it. It is a great "container" for all of your project steps, thoughts, notes, ideas, etc. My life would probably fall apart without it! I use the search feature constantly as well.
There isn't an easy way (that I know of) to see all items across multiple projects that are due on the same day or week. It's possible that I'm not using it the way the folks at Asana intended.
Asana a great work management tool
Kommentarer: the overall experience of asana is very goo, its a well built and well designed system that I can imagine I will be using for a long time to come.
one of the things that stands out to me as a designer, is intact the UI. love the colours and the features of the system. also its a nice touch adding in the little animations when tasks are completed
the only think I would say I sometimes have an issue with is the emails that I receive from the system. every now and then I will get an email that has a title but has no information about the overarching task, it would be very helpful if you could add in a parent task description or even an excerpt to just to give you some relevance to what the ticket is about
This is it: you found it
Kommentarer: From free suscription to Business, I love it.
ASANA is a versatile tool able to fit all your SME needs. From the Operations Manual and Onboarding process, to task management, project planning and performance monitoring. This will make your team communication flow in remote and let you be updated on the work is being done. Comment on a task, make a brainstorming for a project, compile feedback from coworkers or clients… I doubt this is anything you can’t plan and do with ASANA. So stop searching: you found your SME management tool. Congrats!
All I found has been fixed. They develop the app constantly and hace a fluid conversation with their clients to fit their needs.

Grunde til at vælge Asana: It was a long time ago… Wrike was an annual suscription, heavy at loading and too complex at the beginning as to make the most of it. But Asana was very different by then (back in 2015). I left Wrike and a couple of years after, went back to rediscover ASANA. I loved all the changes I found on it.

The most intuitive project management tool!
Kommentarer: Overall Asana kept my team well-aligned with cross-functional teams in the department, and was crucial in meeting tight deadlines. Less time emailing = more time getting work done!
The interface is easy to navigate, and very intuitive. You can tag team members in comments, assign tasks, re-open tasks, share files and links for approvals. It's complex without ever looking or feeling complex, it just helps teams stay organized and on task. Not to mention it's easy to train new employees on since it's so intuitive! My favorite aspect of all though, is the customizable task lists. As a team leader, it was helpful to customize my lists to keep a pulse on all the projects in my team's queue. As a contributor, each of my team members could organize their action lists however they wanted–due date, priority, etc...
I wish that the project timeline setup was less manual. If one task's timeline went over, it was a bit manual to update the remaining timeline of all the other tasks in the project.

Grunde til at skifte til Asana: My team didn't require the time-tracking and Slack / Invision integrations that some of the other more expensive project management systems offered. Asana covered all of our basic project management needs, had a clean interface, and was a very fair price!
Best choice or good alternative
Kommentarer: Good! Asana is not as difficult to get the hand out with. I did manage to set-up all my tasks and projects personally. Though, I haven't used it for a long time when I did tested Monday.com.
I can bet in all of Asana's features from Task management, Scheduling, Materials management, Gantt Charts, Collaborations and the likes. Save for time tracking which is not (yet) available. The Free Pricing however, is generous enough to collaborate with up to 10 or 15 more individuals. Other top PMS has less to nothing - or just one user allowed.
User Interface. Asana needs to improve on there user interface to be at par with Monday.com. I've been using Monday and never looked back (except maybe if someday they will overrun Monday with features. Time Tracking. This one matters for some users, specially freelancers and online nomads alike. Just wondering why this wasn't integrated just yet. Set-up. It wasn't that easy to get started for non-techie users. So patience a virtue. Though PMS are understandably complicated, Monday take the pie in this domain.

helps me run my business
Kommentarer: asana is keeping me totally organized. i have a very specific list of what needs to get done each day. at a glance, i can see what i have next for every single project and i can see what i have planned for the day and the week. (i love the calendar view for my tasks!) it's SUCH a great feeling to check off all the items you have on tap for the day! and it's not just mindless checking off tasks, it's getting me closer to my big goals.
keeps me super organized because i'm a one-woman show and i can't keep it all straight without asana! i love that you can view things on a calendar and sync to your ical or google calendar. i love that you can create different projects and can create subtasks. i don't have a team, but it has tons of great features to assign and keep track of tasks for teams. i check in on my tasks multiple times a day on asana to keep me focused and it has helped me accomplish more than i thought possible. i also love that you have the option to create kanban boards. you can create recurring tasks which is super helpful. i have all of my projects color coordinated and have due dates set so it keeps me super organized. and it's free!!
i wish you could switch from list view to kanban view, but you have to select one or the other when setting up a new project. also, since i am a single user, i wish it would automatically assign all tasks to me, but i have to enter it every time. (if you don't assign a task to yourself, it won't show up in "my tasks") i check in multiple times a day to my tasks, so i have to make sure i have assigned all the tasks to myself so they show up and don't slip through the cracks. i also wish that when i completed a task, it would be removed from my inbox. (instead, i just manually archive all items in my inbox every couple days)
Asana for Digital Agencies
Kommentarer: I solved the workload of every member of my team and the priority of each task. I was able to have a clear and open vision of the situation with each client and deliver their requests on time. It was very helful to us.
I used Asana for 1-2 years while I was working on a Social Media Agency. It helped me a lot to organize my team. I was able to track all the tasks in their differents stages and also I could know the workload of every member of my team. Also I integrated Asana with my Gmail and created tasks from there, very easy and quickly.
When I started using Asana, I had trouble copying and pasting images directly from the email body. Then when they achieved integration with Gmail, this was resolved. Also, email notifications were quite annoying until I learned how to disable them. Maybe they could add a feature to only send email notifications for important tasks.

The organizational tool to keep your life colorful and carefree
Kommentarer: I'd recommend Asana to anyone who asked because I have not yet found a software that I like as much. It's colorful, inviting, and friendly. It makes you feel encouraged to look at your long list of things to do, rather than fill you with dread. In my job, I have many hats to juggle, and Asana helps to take care of it all. It's the sticky note of the internet, and I am a grateful user.
I am a sticky note person. I have sticky notes everywhere, but the problem is that sticky notes can't remind you of your tasks, notify you if you've missed a deadline, or post comments to your coworkers to find out if they've completed their portion of the task. Asana does all of that. I can organize my work life down to the millisecond if I wanted to, but that's a little overkill. Everything in Asana is clearly displayed and labeled. Our staff uses the system together, so I can keep track of what my coworkers have on their plate. It helps me to know if/when I can interrupt them or ask to assist on a task. The deadlines are helpful as well and intuitive. If you miss a task, it goes red. Check off a task, and the funniest thing happens. A unicorn shows up to congratulate you. I appreciate the humor of the software developers. It reminds me that we are all human and just want to laugh sometimes. If you have a task that needs to get done, but a coworker is the person who has to do it, no problem! Simply assign a task to them, and they will get a notification. No more tracking down staff in the office just to ask them to do something. It's a very efficient tool, and I am very happy.
There is no messaging component that allows for live chat conversations. That is the only downside. If I want to have a conversation with a coworker on a project, I have to create a comment and tag them in it- real Facebook style. If I could have a chat button to work in real time with my coworkers, I'd get rid of Slack in a heartbeat. Also, sometimes categorizing the section entitled "My Tasks" can be tricky. There are so many settings that you have to be very specific, like assigning a date and a person to the task (like yourself). If you accidentally write a task, but don't assign a date or person, that task could disappear somewhere into your growing list of things to do. It can be easy to lose a task if you're not careful.
For a Healthy Tracking and Management
Kommentarer: Overall, the experience with Asana can vary depending on the user's needs and expectations. Overall, asana is incredibly flexible, but that can also be it's downfall
Asana is flexible and easy to use. When we first implemented asana, the biggest change was the drop in internal emails we were receiving. Having the inbox feature is nice because there's somewhere you can go to see if anyone has commented or updated any tasks you follow or if they've added you to any new tasks. The use of emojis and the ability to like a comment or action are very small things, but they can make monotonous things like checking off tasks or seeing that someone completed something feel a little bit nicer. You feel good when someone likes your comment or task completion. It's a small way of saying thanks without having to actually type it out every time. Being cloud based means it's super easy to access from anywhere (except when the internet is down i suppose) I do like the fact that you can also create a personal account and throw task lists in there that are totally separate from work tasks, but still easy to access. I haven't used it a ton, but it sure came in handy for wedding planning!
There's too much flexibility. Even with templates set up, everyone sets up task lists differently, so no two projects are the same. Unless you implement a rigid system or process around how employees should build out a project and task lists, or have only a few people allowed to create tasks, it can easily get confusing. This makes it hard to find things. Thank god for the search bar, but when you can't remember exactly what you named something, it's difficult to track things down. It's also hard to know where a project is at by looking in asana. All tasks you've completed are hidden by default. I sometimes turn on their visibility so I can at least see what has been completed and what's left, but it's not a great picture of how far along the project actually is, as there are sometimes tasks that either haven't been entered yet, or tasks that contain large lists of subtasks, so even though it looks like one task, there's actually 12 steps to it. Basically, the task list doesn't give you any indication of how much time is estimated that each tasks needs to complete. It's really easy to get lost with subtasks inside of subtasks inside of subtasks.
An Organizational, Team Coordination and Tracking Tool
Kommentarer: In a large team who are decentralized (different departments handling different tasks within the same project), the tool works well to coordinate each team and meet deadlines. It also minimizes the hassle of follow up for team leads.
Key pros that elevate my overall experience in regards to the software are: 1. User interface and design - The design aspects are very colorful and interactive, making it easy to navigate from one part of the application to another 2. The timeline feature and ability to monitor other team members' progress on common or interrelated tasks enables the overall team to be efficient and helps with easy follow up 3. The ability to create tasks, project templates, color coded calendars and visual project plans not only adds to the user experience (UX) but also to enhance efficiency as one progresses through the project timelines and goals 4. The software is efficient in updating what's in progress, complete, new requests, all of which assist the user to manage their goals for a project. Priority levels also increase efficiency because a user can also give more attention to high priority tasks. 5. On the technical side, it has an open API and integrates well with other software applications such as dropbox and GitHub 6. Asana recently added gantt chart functionality called timelines which helps with project dependencies
1. It takes some time to learn how to use each feature of the product as there are so many features. It requires someone who already has some knowledge to be able to guide other team members. They are easy to use once you do work on them, but some users struggle with more specific features such as dashboards, communication tools. 2. It does not have an in-built instant messaging/chat feature to chat instantly with team mates although they have options to integrate with other softwares for the same functionality. 3. There are too many details that need to be added by users, taking away slightly from the overall experience
Amazing control with Asana
From my personal experience, I managed the marketing and sales team at Indaxia for three years across the Asana platform including social media and the company website.
Asana allowed me to save a lot of time and cost since our eight sub-centers are hundreds of miles apart, and I was able to juggle different tasks such as supervising contract graphic designers, reviewing sales reports for sales staff and even running various meetings with the help of the Zoom platform
During the pandemic, unlike many companies, our company's performance never declined because we were used to working across Asana before the Covid pandemic and in great coordination, so we were fully prepared to deal with such a situation.
With the exception of some minor modifications, I see Asana as one of the most prominent platforms that provide the user with an integrated and exceptional experience in its category.
In fact, the most distinctive thing about Asana is its integration as an application, which allows it to have complete control over all aspects of your projects and even your personal life, arranging your priorities and organizing your time and work team as you see fit. The interface of the application is very beautiful and distinctive, easy to use, whether from the phone or the computer, a very consistent design and a very successful selection of colors, which creates visual comfort. Multiple options in organizing and categorizing your documents, enabling linking to websites and social networking sites and managing them through the platform is very useful for emerging businesses or even large organizations to save time and costs and ensure timely commitment in performing the required work. Asana's performance reports are really impressive, and allow you to monitor your performance and that of your team as a whole and easily diagnose and remedy problems if any exist.
In such applications, I really like that there is flexibility in controlling the background and modifying it to suit the tastes of users, and the point here is that the application allows the user to add pictures of his company or his work team or anything related to the user as a background to the application, this really enhances the sense of belonging to users I really hope that in the future Asana will devise a way to remind users of upcoming deadlines through automated phone calls, as email is often not useful in circumstances of heavy tasks and messages I also like to always remind the importance of direct linking with other business platforms such as delivery platforms, freelance, and others, in order to meet all the needs of users through the platform, and this will be by investing strongly in the development of suggestion and recommendation systems because it is really a necessary feature for this type of platforms
The App That Makes Me Count My Lucky Stars
Asana If apps were food, my mouth would WATER when I mention Asana. It's not just any meal. When it comes to organizational apps, it's THE best dessert. It's SWEEEEEET! It's the app that I'm actually using to write the draft of this review on. Every time I need to move all my to-do's from my head onto another place, I jot them down on Asana. I can use physical calendars, ( I actually do like them)... but Asana has been the ONE system that I use to jot down my goals, to-do's , projects, systems, outlines, notes, reminders, pretty much everything except my shopping list and things I have to fully write. I love this app so much that I'm actually quite proficient at using it thanks to a course that I took called Asana HQ http://bit.ly/asanahq. It has taught me how to maximize my account that I created using my own domain. The beauty of Asana is that it's simple to use, easy to create lists on, group those things into tasks or projects and just literally move forward in life. I have become considerably more proficient in life thanks to Asana. Yes you can buy a computer, and buy some software and gear for your dreams... but if you don't have a tool in place that allows you to nudge yourself forward, you'll most likely be stuck for a very long time. Asana is SO great that I count my lucky stars knowing that it's free. Try it... and don't be surprised if you fall in love with it. It's perfect for the little thoughts you don't want to forget, it's also perfect for the
I can't think of anything. I like it that much. If I had a magic wand, maybe more free features would be nice. I wish they added a progress bar to your tasks or projects to visiaully better be able to gauge the progress we're making. But it's already a great app.
Great tool for task management and team collaboration.
Kommentarer: Based on my experience, Asana is a great tool to coordinate small teams (or startups) and be more productive while keeping an eye on progress and bottle necks.
Asana has a great team behind its product that constantly updates the platform to meet customer demand. The user interface is very modern and easy to use while the user experience is very well thought out with great micro interactions that make the whole product experience very delightful. It's easy to navigate from one section to another with colored elements to highlight important aspects of the UI. It has useful features like subtasks, boards view and calendar view. You can also view the overall progress per project or team. With the portfolio function, you can view the status of all your current projects in real time, so you can keep everything on track and easily report on progress. They recently added a Gantt chart feature named "Timeline" that can help project managers. You can create templates for different tasks and projects, so you and your team can be more efficient. Priority makes it easy to give attention to tasks that need urgent attention. Integration with different services (Slack, Harvest, Dropbox, GitHub, etc) makes Asana be even more helpful. There is also an open API for more sophisticated applications.
As with all services there is a learning curve to actually becoming proficient in using Asana, but that can be easily accomplished with a bit of time and practice. The only thing I want to mention as a negative is the lack of option to hide team members from the side bar, because they are shown on top of each project. If you are a startup or a small team, and most of the team is on each project, it becomes irrelevant to actually see the same team members again and again. This would make the side menu / list a bit shorter to navigate through.
