Intuitive and to the point

Kommentarer: Kontainer is available to answer questions every day and they take the time to do so.

Fordele:

Fast integration and great support doing process. The software solved our frustrations about sharing assets and content to more people, still ensuring a level of authorisation for users. We choose Kontainer as it is a simple platform, very intuitive to use and easy to graphically make it unique for our brands.

Ulemper:

There are a few functions we are not super happy about such as the PDF viewer inside Kontainer where we hope that a new version will be rolled out shortly.

Grunde til at skifte til Kontainer: Price.... Kontainer also has fewer functions than these competitors but it fulfilled the needs we had. The features of Kontainer gave us value for money.

Fordele:

I love how easy it is to organize our files with tags, making it incredibly efficient to locate and manage our assets. The ability to create landing pages for sharing with external users is fantastic, simplifying the process of collaboration and sharing resources. Managing permissions is straightforward, allowing us to control access effectively. Additionally, setting up templates to empower others to download their needed file type and size is a powerful feature that enhances productivity and ensures consistency across our assets.

Ulemper:

I dislike that some of their features are locked behind different payment levels. This tiered pricing can be frustrating, especially when some essential features require a higher payment plan. It would be more user-friendly if more features were accessible without additional costs.

Very user friendly platform

Kommentarer: Kontainer is a great tool for us. We work with two assortments a year and therefore have a lot of packshots and content. With Kontainer we are able to keeo everything in one place and divide into assortments in different folders. Kontainer has always been great at helping whenever I've needed some guidance.

Fordele:

That you can have all your visual material in one place and either send out a link to customers or they can have their own login. Makes it user friendly for all parties.

Ulemper:

I don't have anything bad to say about Kontainer.

Reliable management system

Kommentarer: I use Kontainer to arrange marketing campaigns, and sharing that content with my colluges arond the world. That gives me a asset in terms of securing that we make the same impact at the same time.

Fordele:

I like the easy upload and the fact that you can create either folders or albums. This is really helpful in terms of keeping all pictures in the correct folder and then just adding them to albums.

Ulemper:

Somehow I find it really difficult to get an overview of permissions for each user, and I seem to always have problems sharing links with external partners. I don't like that shared folders can't be udated with new content without having to share a new link to the same folder.

Fordele:

I like the interface that is simple yet packed with functionality. And how you're able to customize the look of subpages within Kontainer to different contexts like a website. It's also very handy to be able to mark several images and crop them to specific dimensions in one simple flow. The customer support is very help as well and gets back to you quickly.

Ulemper:

I miss more ways to search your images easily; for example filtering with/without people, landscape/portrait format etc. It could be an AI scanning the database to propose obvious ways to filter the images. I also miss a better and faster way to view and edit video material

Kommentarer: Overall we've been very happy with Kontainer. We've been using it for 3 years to house and share all of our finished assets with clients - thousands of photo and video assets. The permissions and user control couldn't be easier and it enables us to not only share files, but to give appropriate access to our partners so they can upload/tag files as well.

Compliance and easily accessible materials for colleagues

Kommentarer: Overall, a good experience that gives us the flexibility and structured storage we need from a DAM system.

Fordele:

How it is linked-based. I like how it makes material easily accessible to our colleagues, and how material can be easily replaced. We are able to be GDPR compliant with the integrated workflows, which makes it easy for our colleagues to give consent. Your team provide good and flexible support and have made many changes based on our needs.

Ulemper:

The design options for each page could be more flexible - why do the folders have to be at the bottom of each page? Also, the file history is not always valid.

Kommentarer: Overall a very good user-friendly experience that lacked a fair number of features and had a number of bugs in the beginning, paired with a nice support-team, that makes every challenge possible to solve.

Fordele:

Kontainer works very smoothly and is in general easy to use and has a very user-friendly design and interface. Kontainer is very well suited for storing and sorting pictures, so it is easier for employees to find what they are looking for.

Ulemper:

When we first started working with Kontainer, it took about a year before the most influential bugs were fixed, and the launch date fell much later than expected. The Kontainer-experience for us has not been a complete and done package, but more a "working-through-it-together" kind of thing, where there is always bugs that needs to be fixed, and features added. But this is also where Kontainer show a very positive side - their user support are very quick at responding and at helping and fixing your problems.

I wouldn't have chosen any other DAM system!

Kommentarer: This is the most versatile and price friendly DAM I have ever worked with. It has a fantastic support structure, so we always feel we have someone to suport us if needed.

Fordele:

There are so many benefits to mention abou this software. The functionality is perfect for medium/big sized companies, the pricing is incredible to beat and their attitude to constanly improving their software accoring to customer feedback. Their support/chat is very responsive and helpful. Kontainer has strong integration possibilities with fx. our PIM system, Perfion. We no longer administer images in PIM, but do it instead in the very user friendly Kontainer interface. Markeintg use Kontainert for all their hi-res images for print and other colleteral, instead of saving images in various local folders/drives. Our external customers now use Kontainer to download our product images for their own print and web material.

Ulemper:

Kontainer feels like a relatively young company, so their sofware is maybe not as mature as the more high-end/expensive options on the market. This being said, Kontainer has ample functionality available, and is constantly adding new features. The tagging options can sometimes be a bit confusing when trying to set up, but as we have integrated Kontainer with an external PIM system, we only use the basics here.
