We would like to have the possibility to export the review but in the color of each leave event (vacation, sick days each different color..) so we can visualize it through the review for each employee per month. It would help us with the salary accounting process.

Kommentarer: 10/10 customer service is extremely helpful and prompt in their responses. [sensitive content hidden] was very helpful with all my questions for adding time clock and getting it configured correctly. The support articles she shared with me were really easy to understand. Configuring everything hasn't taken much time out of my day. Top notch.

Fordele:

App for staff and setup for admin are both very intuitive and easy to use. We have used the time off feature for 4 years now and it is simple and exactly what we need. We just added the time clock feature to streamline tracking our hourly employees and weekly summaries for payroll.

Ulemper:

I don't have any issues at all, which is amazing for an online tool.

Simple and easy to use!

Kommentarer: Love it! What an absolute time saver for keeping track of employee time off. The customer support is phenomenal, and they continue to help set up and answer questions in a timely manner.

Fordele:

Ease of employees logging in their vacation and sick time. Visibility to all on one calendar. Less administrative burden on keeping track of time off. And there is a mobile app that helps our salespeople who are on the road see who is off in the office.

Ulemper:

The calendar view could show a bit more detail on the absence up front. As of now you have to "hover" over the individual to see if they are off the entire day or just taking a couple of hours off.

Good, but still room for improvement

Kommentarer: Okay, but I have to endure staff complaints after we transitioned from a former in-house program to Calamari with its shortcomings as mentioned above.

Fordele:

The fact that it is available as a Web app, Mobile App and can be integrated with MS Teams, etc.

Ulemper:

The calendar should be improved across all platforms to give a first-glance distinction of approved vs pending approval requests, partial vs full day leave, clear and very visible identification of company holidays without the need to hover over the days to figure it out.

Slack notifications are really good. They help us keep up to date.

Everting you can look for in one app

Kommentarer: The setup process is very easy and they are helpful every step of the way

I like that it considers all the flexibility options. You can control and change anything. Also the customer support has been super! i have dealt with one person from start to the end (her name is Ewelina) and she has been a superstar in the transition and always available. Also the mobile app is amazing

Ulemper:

Nothing comes to mind. I am very happy thus far.

Good useful product

Simple to use, easy to set up and manage

features that we used to have included are now separated out and require further licencing. Also the WFM feature for breaks / lunches lacks more sophisticated features compared to others on market

Global use

Kommentarer: We are mostly satisfied with calamari But wish that it’s global usage and coordination was more efficient

It is mostly easy to use however, the reporting functionality is not as robust as we wish it could be

Best HR Tracker for Slack

Kommentarer: Its quite good but I worry about the price hike of calamari

I love that it integrate to slack seamlessly so that you dont have to have too much app in this digital age.

Ulemper:

I dislike the price hike of calamari. In 1 year, the annual cost almost doubled. And I dislike that some of the feature that was in the old and cheaper version was split into another product that you have to pay again.

Good Product for Trackign Employee time worked and time off schedules

Kommentarer: Overall we like the product. It keeps track of time off and daily timeclock functinos very well. It is highly customizable. I just have a hard time getting help if I need it, which luckily isn't too often.

Product is very flexible on how you set it up

It is so fexible, it can be difficult to set up. Getting help after initial setup has been challenging for me sometimes also.

Calamari for Office Efficiency

Kommentarer: Calamari has really solved our time tracking and attendance issues. Moving away from excel sheets and missed tracking has been great. Customer service is always willing to help!

Fordele:

Calamari has great ease of access for all staff. Being able to use your phone to request a sick day and approve it or request time off has been a great feature.

Ulemper:

I wish that administrator and HR didn’t count as a seat if you aren’t using the system for them. We are just using it purely as an administrator.

Recommended tool for time tracking

Easy to manage program and liked by the employees, which also allows them to control their own time.

Ulemper:

Setting up the different options was a bit problematic but with a great help from Calamari support center (which was excellent) we solved all our issues.

Calamari Review

Kommentarer: So far, it has been great, I can see all requests in the calendar view.

Fordele:

I like that you can have all employee requests in one place and by category.

Ulemper:

I can't track an employee's request. When a request has been sent or is on hold, it would be great to have something that allows us to control the requests.

Pros outweight the Cons

Kommentarer: The positives (app and modern integrations such as slack) outweight the negatives (clunky confusing UX) so we will continue to utilise.

Ulemper:

Employer and employee settings are a bit complicated and often hard to find. As a C Suite I often need to ask for help from our internal calamari 'expert' to assist with settings or features. Usability is a problem.

One area that I liked least was the limited customization options. Having more flexibility in terms of customizing leave policies, approval workflows, and reports would have been beneficial for organizations with unique needs.

Great Tracking, Friendly Support

Great user interface. I've never had an issue - I used the chat feature for the first time in 2+ years today, and they were excellent.

Today was the first issue I've had, and it was resolved quickly. I don't have anything negative that comes to mind.
